The Alexander Wang Pre-Fall 2017 collection is founded in Western wear, influenced by 1980’s couture and grounded in street and skate culture.

Inspired by rodeo attire, in the more literal connotation of the West, and by the glamour and lavish exuberance of 80’s the allure of opposite between luxury and sport is seen in a unique mix of materials like slinky mushroom-pleated basketball jersey mesh, Chantilly lace done in tech fibers, shrunken, classic dual-stripe collar polos in Lurex, and referee jerseys in luxurious allover beading.
