DELPOZO – Pre-Fall 2017

Delpozo collections invariably feel elevated beyond everyday, especially given creative director Josep Font’s exacting approach to design. His pre-fall 17 collection for Delpozo, was inspired by the minimalist lines of Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer and the intricate botanical collages of 18th-century British artist Mary Delany. This season it’s about the interplay of structure and flow, effortless femininity. It was combined architectural cuts and organic embellishment. Every item bore witness to Font’s extreme attention to detail, with exquisite finishing and unexpected details such as three-dimensional leaf-shaped bows and wide cropped pants with extra-large cuffs.
