Inspiration

The Alexander Wang Resort 2018 collection explores a narrative on the new urban uniform and further defines the codes of a modern wardrobe through the duality and perceived tension between sensuality and power. This season, Wang contextualizes iconic elements of dressing in a way that feels twisted and broken but fixed on a moment of refinement. Inside-out tweeds have intricately frayed linings and chain hardware detail, distressed denim shorts are fused with leather leggings, and a chenille robe with leather moto sleeves plays with the theme of deconstruction and hybridization.
