COACH FALL COLLECTION 2008
Platform lines show a sophisticated, polished look and rich, sexy feel.

NEW YORK, April 7 – Coach Inc., a leading American design house presents      a new, and exciting direction with sophisticated, polished looks and rich materials and textures for Fall 2008. Bag, baubles and chic outerwear are designed in stylish silhouettes with iconic Coach hardware.

“Every season we like to take the Coach brand to the next level and push the envelope even further,” says Reed Krakoff, President and Executive Creative Director. “We love surprising our customers while at the same time giving them exactly what they are looking for.”

Hamptons, with its characteristic tailored shape and vintage glove tanned leather, continues to evolve through a modern interpretation and elevated design details. The season will bring the retro-modern Carryall, ruched and with a top handle; the stitched Violet Clutch with iconic turnlock; and the oversized, multi-tasseled vintage Lindsay with full front pockets. In addition to rich neutrals like grey, white and mahogany, Hamptons silhouettes will also be available in such luxe seasonal colors as espresso, magenta and berry.

The Bleecker collection will feature a sexy, oversized Python Tote, a definitive statement piece; the Leather Woven Zip Satchel with chain-link hardware and clean, crisp detail; and a stylish, downtown Tote in both light mauve and tan leather or plum and mahogany patent.

Building on the overwhelming response to the Legacy collection, Coach continues to expand the line and cater to the whims of the downtown girl who seeks beautiful vintage leathers. New silhouettes include the Zip Satchel, available in sharp bottle green and a newly introduced Flap Hobo features multiple textures and functional buckles.

Also taking the brand in a new direction are two stunning iconic trench coats, a collaboration between Krakoff and designer Philip Lim. The tonal Classic Suede Trench and the chic and sexy Short City Leather Trench are perfect representations of both designers’ sensibilities and ingenuity.
