Classic wardrobe staples are reinvented this fall with familiar uptown silhouettes inflected with downtown attitude. Traditional shapes are elegantly twisted with ostentatious embellishments, off-kilter constructions and regal tailoring.

Outerwear, in a familiar palette of camel, black and white, is re-imagined with oversized hand-made galvanized brass buttons or pumped up in an enveloping, double-faced wool cape with ribbed collar and popper fastenings.

There’s a sense of fluidity and movement in tailoring with gathered bust les cut into the back of an otherwise classic jacket or in deconstructed ribbed knits, which hug the body or break away in graphic angles. Elsewhere, sleek ribbed knits in classic camel are worn with pared-down and elegant cashmere and wool wrap skirts.
