Each item symbolizes classical value not everybody can possess – something to carry through generations. The upholstery fabrics and wallpapers in this collection share the same value and are ready to fulfill every house with the taste of art and elegance.

The storytelling patterns
The patterns appeared on Hermès’ finest fabrics are not only beautiful, but also full of imagination and creativity; which has been telling hundreds of stories since their first appearance on Hermès scarves in 1937. Hermès preserves its poetic sense as an artist of textile with the brand’s cherished themes: equestrian, traveling, and fantasy. These themes still play as the protagonists in the upholstery fabrics and wallpapers collection. The collection revolves around three families: the Illustrative, the Graphic and the Plains and semi-plains.

• Illustrative Collection
  With a bunch of very large patterns, the Illustrative collection is telling equestrian stories or evoking a poetic get-away.

• Graphic Collection
  Graphic drawings are inspired from ties patterns or play with stripes in an equestrian spirit.

• Plains and Semi-Plains Collection
  Plain and semi-plain colours are expressing a wide range of colours and are combining sensual textures.

The Collaboration with DEDAR
To craft this collection, Hermès aims for the best of its creation by collaborating with DEDAR, the leader of furnishing fabrics production of Italy, and one of the world’s bests. Since 2011 Dedar has been producing and distributing Hermès collection of furnishing fabrics and wallpapers. This partnership fuses the experience and knowhow of Dedar with the richness of the Hermès creative universe, on a foundation of values cherished by both houses: the constant quest for excellence and a strong family spirit. The collections designed under Hermès artistic direction are available from selected Hermès stores, and, thanks to a distribution agreement with Dedar, through a specialist network.
