The Fall 2016 Accessories Collection introduces the ‘Hana’ group– a name derived from the Japanese meaning of ‘favorite.’

A study of Japanese influences inspires and pushes the boundaries of silhouette, material, and detail - offering a series of curated objects for the modern global collector. Elemental characteristics of the traditional bento box inform unexpected shapes with structured frame and high gloss lacquer finish detail. In a nod to Furoshiki, a traditional Japanese wrapping technique, soft nappa leather closures instill balance between hard and soft, structure and drape. Functional details - leather hinges, stacked leather feet and square cut drawcords - are executed with a focus honoring artistry, precision, and craft.

The key novelty introductions include graphic and dimensional patchwork: Neko (cat), Usagi (rabbit) and Japanese floral motifs. The juxtaposition of textures such as: crushed velvets with naplack leathers and latex with Irezumi (Japanese tattoo) inspired Anaconda leathers evoke modern luxury.
