Stella McCartney Tiger and Ocelot

This season ocelot and tiger patterns come alive on fur free fur, knitwear, and embroideries. ‘Animal’ is part of the Stella woman: there is a subtle aggressiveness and confidence in wearing or imitating an animal. We wanted to give women this confidence in their wear. Here at Stella we are constantly experimenting with new techniques, and we were excited to see how we can bring the ‘animal to life’. The Fall 2016 Fur Free Furs were jacquards made with modacrylic yarn dyed threads using our exclusive designs. The jacquard gives you a deep and rich effect as the design is carried right through to the base. The Fur Free Fur has a soft jersey base to make for a supple and comfortable garment. The tiger jacquard has a “peak” made with a heat roll process that imitates the back of a tiger.
